What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a very safe method of helping a person to relax deeply. In this deeply relaxed state the unconscious mind can more easily respond to positive suggestions, which may not be possible for the conscious mind, due to emotional mental blocks or past negative messages.

How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis brings about an altered state of consciousness much like daydreaming and acts as a mediator between the conscious and the unconscious mind. This enables changes to take place more easily.

No, very rarely a patient may fall asleep but in this case the hypnotherapist would just awaken you.
Can I be made to say or do anything I don't want to?
No, you cannot be made to do or say anything you do not want to. Even when hypnotised you can reject any suggestion if you consider it to be inappropriate.
How will I feel after the hypnosis session?
Your hypnotherapist will make sure you are fully awake and alert before you leave the premises. Most people feel energized and more focused on what they need to do.
